The Re-Strainer has a 6 ml recovery reservoir which can be accessed by unscrewing the cap. The Re-Strainer has two female luer-lock-ports. These ports can be used to connect several Re-Strainer to a filter cascade (male to male luer-lock connector) or integrate the Re-Strainer as an in-line-strainer via luer-lock tube adaptor. You can choose from 15 different mesh sizes (1 um to 500 um)

The Re-Strainer (In-Line-Strainer) is a separation device for a wide range of applications in life science laboratories. The inlet port and outlet ports allow the treatment of high volumes. Re-Strainers of different mesh sizes can be assembled to a strainer-cascade by using male to male luer-lock connectors. Properly closed and connected they withstand pressure up to 3.5 kg/cm2. The mesh is precision woven monofilament PET (Polyethylenterephthalat). PET has an excellent chemical resistance and does not adsorb proteins. The housing material is LD-PE (Low Density Polyethylen). Continuous temperature over 65 ⁰C or short time over 90 ⁰C will result in permanent deformation.
