pluriSpin® Human T Cell Depletion is designed to isolate pure, viable and untouched t cells-free population from whole blood, buffy coat, cord blood or similar sample material by negative isolation. The product labels T cells, while the isolated human t cells-free population are left in the sample. When centrifuged over a density medium the unwanted cells pellet along with the RBCs. The purified t cells-free population are present as a highly enriched population at the interface between the plasma and the density medium.
Negative cell selection removes all unwanted cells. In contrast to the positive enrichment, all cells, except the cells of interest, will bound to specific antibodies and separated. While the unwanted cells will be depleted the target cells remain unbound and “untouched” to antibodies or beads in the sample material. pluriSelect has developed the pluriSpin system which isolates viable untouched and highly purified cells in one step without magnets or column. That minimizes the risk of activating or damaging the cells of interest.
