Density Gradient Media
pluriSelect provides ready-to-use density gradient media designed for the precise isolation of various blood cell populations using single-step density gradient centrifugation. PBMC-Spin® is formulated with a density of 1.077 g/ml at room temperature, specifically for isolating PBMCs (peripheral blood mononuclear cells, including lymphocytes and monocytes) from fresh samples within 12 hours. Leuko Spin is optimized to enrich all leukocytes from fresh sample material. For working with blood older than 12 or 24 hours, PBMC24+ Spin is recommended to minimize contamination with granulocytes. If you require isolation of monocytes or platelets from human blood, consider our Monocyte Spin and PLT Spin products. If none of these options suit your needs, our HDSM and DDM Spin Medium Set allows you to customize the density for isolation from animal blood or similar samples, enabling mixing of densities between 1.0 and 1.1 g/ml.
