PluriMate

PluriMate® was designed to efficiently separate leukocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from whole blood and bone marrow. Its key feature is a porous sponge at the bottom of the centrifuge tube, made of high-grade polyurethane. This sponge eliminates the need for time-consuming overlaying of sample material, allowing anticoagulated blood or bone marrow to be poured directly into the PluriMate® tube from the sampling tube. During centrifugation, leucocytes, lymphocytes, and PBMCs are separated from unwanted erythrocytes and granulocytes, depending on the density gradient used (such as Leuko Spin, Lympho Spin, PLT Spin, etc.). These cells are enriched in an interphase above the separation medium. Once separation is complete, the barrier prevents recontamination of the enriched cell fraction during harvest, accommodating both large and small sample volumes.
