Separation Tubes
pluriSelect separation tubes are designed for efficient separation of leukocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from whole blood and bone marrow. They can also be used for any density-based particle separation, provided the target density is known and a solution with the necessary density is available. As long as the required gravitational force (g) does not exceed the mechanical tolerance of the separation devices, these tubes offer versatility in various separation applications. The use of pluriMate and TwinSpin helps to streamline the process by eliminating the need for time-consuming and laborious overlaying of sample material. During centrifugation, leukocytes, lymphocytes, and PBMCs are separated from unwanted erythrocytes and granulocytes, depending on the density gradient media used.
